Fit tunes help our workout and feed our spirit thoughts and ideas from God~

Have you ever listened to Christian contemporary music, praise and worship or played a good Bible teaching program while working out?? I have and it motivates me to no end! I feel like I can ride my bicycle or walk the boardwalk forever while listening to my One Year Bible daily reading from the You Version Bible app. Or when I listen to KLOVE radio app I get so inspired for the day. It is so inspiring and uplifting! The encouraging songs provide me direction, ideas and wisdom from God while I get fit! (I have actually read or listened to the One Year Bible now since 2011 and so I have developed a slight healthy addiction to this daily habit.) God tells us in Joshua 1:8 to mediate on or “study this book of instruction continually, meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.” So your workout is a perfect time to “continually meditate on His instruction!”

When I listen to KLOVE app or Moody Radio app- the Christian music and positive words truly lift me instead of the sappy love songs or the bang your head music I used to listen to, although I do still on rare occasion listen to a little Deftones… But let me tell you that the sounds we listen to or music we put into our brain can subconsciously speak to us and affect and direct us. So having God’s word and music coming into our ears and brain is so vital! Fit tunes (FIT-Fitness in Truth!) need to be flowing in our car radio, in our earphones during workout and even at home-try it and notice a greater peace in your life! When we get spiritually fit we will enjoy fitness in every area of life-Eat less, pray more, walk with God!
