I will share my experience, strength and hope as God has helped me overcome so many problems and unhealthy habits in my own life and promote wholeness, health and healing in spirit, mind and body. I will write about my 5 fit elements God gave me for my abundant life-eat naturally, exercise daily, experience God, encourage others and enjoy life as well as post healthy substitute recipes.

Thursday is my ‘encourage others’ post and this morning I listened to ‘Today in the Word’ radio broadcast on my Moody Bible institute app while riding my bicycle. Joe Stowell, former president of Moody, spoke of John 13 and how Jesus' life here on earth was a wonderful example of so many things, including how to love each other. As He washes the disciples’ feet he tells them how to love and serve each other. John 13:12-17-After washing their feet, he (Jesus) put on his robe again and sat down and asked, “Do you understand what I was doing? 13 You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and you are right, because that’s what I am. 14 And since I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you ought to wash each other’s feet. 15 I have given you an example to follow. Do as I have done to you. 16 I tell you the truth, slaves are not greater than their master. Nor is the messenger more important than the one who sends the message. 17 Now that you know these things, God will bless you for doing them. WOW! Now that levels the playing field. He says we are to give each other foot rubs, a foot bath and serve one another!

Mr. Stowell reminds us of this great task in our lives-to love people like Jesus loved people-no matter their position, stature, problems, background- no matter what. I was brought to a very low position a few times in my life in my unhealthy habits and additions so have no problem relating to everyone now and for this I am grateful. So may we be more mindful of loving like Jesus loved, serving like He served His disciples, and pray those around us will take notice of this healthy, generous and fit way of life and we will be blessed! (John 13:17)

Join our new Fit movement of faith and fitness and let's turn the world upside down sharing the hope, freedom and love of Jesus! Keep coming back,
